Overview of cross-sectional data to be taken into account in calculations (Output Table)

Table description:

The output data table CROSDAT provides an overview list of all cross-sectional data that have been specified in this function along the pipeline axis. The data are given at the mid-element sections.

The soil supporting angles ANG1 and ANG2 have been calculated from the various ANG()-RVS() relationships specified in input data table SUPANG and the occurring vertical soil reactions underneath the mid-element section¹.

ANG1 relates to a situation where the topload on the section is SOILNB*F and ANG2 relates to the situation where the topload is (SOILNB+TOPLOAD)*F where F = the general load factor GLOADFAC specified in table LOCASE.

In table CROSDAT the topload values are given without multiplication by this general load factor in order to enable the designer to compare the calculated values with the values specified in tables SOILNB and TOPLOAD in an easier way.

The loadcase name and the current value of the general load factor, as well as the phase number, if applicable, are shown in the table heading.

¹ : For support elements generated in Design Function 2 the ANG1 and ANG2 values are equal to the SUPANGLE value(s) specified in input data table SUPPORT.
