Specification of environmental weight properties (Input Table)

Table description:

Through data input table PROPENV the specific weight of (sea) water and acceleration of gravity may be specified. This is necessary only if they are different from the values built into the program:

Gravity

= 9.81 m/s2 or equivalent in other units

SWwater

= 1025*9.81 N/m3 or equivalent in other units

The specific weight of the surrounding water is converted to mass density by the program to be used in the Morison equation.
