Specification of load-components per identified set of nodal point loads (Input Table)

Table description:

Through the input data table NODALS (NODAl Load Specification) sets of nodal point load forces can be specified and referenced by a name LOADREF (LOAD REFerence). Reference to these nodal point load sets is made in the input data tables NODALL (NODAl point Loads Location) or FOCUSL.

For the six degrees of freedom of a node load components are to be specified. The load components are specified in the overall X-Y-Z coordinate system (GLOBAL) or the local x-y-z coordinate system (LOCAL) or the focus coordinate system (FOCUS). Specification of the coordinate system to be applied is done in the input data table NODALL under LOADSYS. For a FOCUS load specified in table FOCUSL the focus coordinate system is automatically chosen.

In the FOCUS coordinate system the positive x-axis is directed from the nodal point (N) to the focus point (F), the y-axis is horizontal and the positive z-axis makes an angle of less than 90 degrees with the global positive Z-axis. The three axes shall form a right-handed coordinate system.

For a FOCUS loading in most cases the FX load component will be specified only.

In case table NODALS has been specified, either table NODALL or table FOCUSL must be present.
