List of wave profile elevation points over half a wave length (Output Table)

Table description:

The output data table WAPROF provides a list of 41 wave elevation points from crest to trough showing the wave profile over half a wave length.

The following important wave data are shown in the table heading:

•wave type (long or short crested)

•wave theory applied (Airy or Stokes)

•wave height H

•wave period T

•(average) water depth d ( = average W-LEVEL minus average G-LEVEL)

•wave length (in wave propagation direction)
