Overview list of specified characteristics of joints in pipeline based on element list (Output Table)

Table description:

In the output data table J-SDATA the characteristics of the joint types existing in the pipeline are assigned to the appropriate elements. 10 different types are available.

Apart from the data provided in input tables PIPES and JOINTS and/or JNTSPRS the program calculates and reports the initial lateral angular difference in the joint and the initial angle between the plane of the elements adjacent to the joint and the horizontal plane. Some of the data provided in this table can be in contradiction with the configuration of the joints generated in Design Function 2. In that case a (warning or error) message is given.

If a joint is generated in a bend resulting in an initial kink angle exceeding MaxRot, a function error message is given. A warning/message appears if for a HINGE an initial kink is generated in a plane that does not correspond with the plane of rotation.

For the redistribution of the ovalisations of the single elements in Design Function 6.1 the ring stiffness indication of the joint elements is of importance. If the R(edistribution) module is lacking or the Loading Redistribution key is switched off, the specified ring stiffness doesn't matter.
