Specification of element groups (Input Table)

Table description:

By means of table GROUPS elements can be divided into different groups, for instance pipeline sections made from different materials.

By selecting an element group in Output tables with an ELEM or NODE column results of only these elements can be shown, printed and plotted.

Moreover the Select Group option can be combined with the Show minima, Show maxima and Show maxima & minima options providing the facility of obtaining the extreme values of calculated results for preselected parts of the pipeline.

Non-physical elements (e.g. weaks or joints) are never part of a user defined group.
